hi.

I have a 1975 ford landau. The problem is that the heater tap which is vacuum operated is rusted out. This heater tap also controls the dash's aircon ducts. do you know where i can get another one?

Hi Guys, I Owned a Gold XC Fairmont 2 Door from 1981 - 1991, I Was 21 yrs Old.
29/12/76 Built. Only had charcoal box as pollution.
351, 4 speed, 4 w discs, Air / steer.
Ive found out recently that when they built the Phase 4's.
They built all the motors but the Govt stopped production, they detuned or something to the motors,
Then put them in normal production cars. My mates reckon that I Got one of them.
Mine used to go very hard indeed, Never beaten in a Proper Drag.
I've Run 327 Monaros, XU1 Toranas, Phase 2's, 351 (I think) Mustangs, XD 351.Plus others.
Beat them all.
I'm Not A Hoon I Just Liked The Drag, The Feel Of Power Unleashing, It was Like a Jet Plane Taking Off.
The Car had 55,000 klms, I Even got chased by a Goulburn Cop, Caught up to me at Liverpool on Hume Hwy.
Loved the car, booked me at 148klms otherwise he would have to take me back to Goulburn Police Station.
I Was Doing 220/240 klms, On The Red Line,I Was Watching The Road,My Mate Was With Me.
Anyway Abit Of True Trivia for you.
Never checked any further about the phase 4 motors, Maybe you have more contacts. I Sold In 91' car went Nth, I wrote something inside Drivers Door If The Owner is reading this. Love to know if car is still going?
I'd like to know about The Motor it if someone can find out, Still drive Fords, own a Fairlane Now. Great Site, I'll keep Looking.
All the Best Steve D. ;-)
